becki parr

board secretary

Becki enjoys the beauty that surrounds her in Colorado and feels most at home in stretchy pants, enjoying the outdoors with her family and dog. Becki is married to Scott and they have three school-aged boys. Scott and Becki have served vocationally in a variety of ministries. Becki is a Spiritual Director and currently works for a hospice organization. She is passionate about creating safe spaces for people to connect with the Lord, others and themselves. In the thick of parenting children with diverse needs, life is messy and often a day will hold both sorrow and celebration, sometimes in the same moment. Becki is grateful to be part of the Awakening Hope team, believing deeply in the healing that takes place as grief is witnessed and held and permission is granted to be unfinished, unformed, and in process. Becki appreciates the holiness of humor and tries to weave play into everyday.
