This summer (2026) Awakening Hope has been invited to partner with Hope Heals Camp, a multi-generational camp in Alabama, to serve families with disability in their story. For three weeks in June and July we will be serving the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of individual campers by helping to lead the Pastoral Crew, serving as Compassionate Companions to individual campers, and facilitating a few breakout sessions for the camper community. Hope Heals Camp is able to offer this incredible experience to camper families tuition-free because volunteers like us raise funding for their tuition plus extra to help cover camper family costs. Between now and Saturday, June 20, 2026 we are raising $7,100 for this project.
